FOUR SEASONS IN CHIANTI
In Spring nature awakens, the landscape is coloured, this is one of the best seasons for visiting, in fact the temperatures are not too high, but ideal for relaxing walks make in the country to observe the bloom of wildflowers. Spring along with the late autumn is the rainiest period of the year.
Summer is a drought and dry time, with temperatures sometimes exceeding 30°C.
During the autumn months the landscape is particularly enchanted and colored, thanks to the colors of the grapes and the trees that begin to lose the leaves. The Autumn is a good period for a vacation in Chianti, in fact during this month is possible living directly in the farms the grape harvest, and to savor the splendid colors of Chianti hills, with a still mild temperature especially in the month of October, while the late autumn is one of the more rainy periods of the year.
Winter is the coldest period of the year, the minimum winter temperatures are often below the 4°C. You can find the snow, usually no more than 1 or 2 snowfalls, most likely in February.
